Dortha Lea Claybaker, 83, of Topeka passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born December 2, 1923 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, daughter of Walter Edwin Blubaugh and Opal (Carmichael) Blubaugh.
Dortha married Richard A. Claybaker May 23,1941 he precededs her in death. She worked for the Secretary of State for 10 years before retiring in December of 1988. Dortha had been a member of the Faith Luthern Church.
Survivors include her son, John Phillip Claybaker of Topeka; and a brother Dale Blubaugh of Ft.. Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Claybaker, and her brother Paul Blubaugh. Memorial services for Dortha will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, at Faith Lutheran Church, 1716 SW Gage Topeka, KS 66604. Memorial contributions may be given to Faith Lutheran Church.
