Dorothy Virginia Metcalf, 83, of Olathe, passed away on November 21, 2015. She was born on May 3, 1932 to Perry and Elizabeth Brown in Salina, KS.
Dorothy is survived by her 6 children; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 1 brother; and 1 sister.
She was preceded in death by her husband William E. Metcalf.
The family will receive guests for a visitation on Tuesday, November 24th, 2015 from 10:00 - 12:00 pm at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home in Olathe, followed by a graveside service at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to either the March of Dimes, 4400 College Blvd #180, Leawood, KS 66211 or to Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care, 1500 Meadow Lake Pkwy #200, Kansas City, MO 64114.
