Dorothy Hazel Williams, born September 25, 1912 in Globe, Arizona passed away July 11, 2006 at the Olathe Medical Center. Hazel suffered a heart attack Saturday afternoon while playing bridge with her friends at the Cedar Lake Village.

Hazel then moved in Scottsdale, Arizona until 2002 whereupon she relocated to The Cedar Lake Retirement Village. Spike and Hazel participated in a farm equipment business, residential building/ development and farming. She was a member of the first Olathe Hospital building committee. Her grandson Philip Harness was the first male born at the hospital in 1953. The center of Hazel's life was her family who were loved greatly and she was loved in return.
