Dorothy "Joan" Ebeling, 78, Olathe, KS, passed away at her home surrounded
by her family, Thursday, March 1, 2007. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Vitas Hospice, 2300 Main street, suite 900, KCMO 64108 and/or Parkinson Association of Greater Kansas City, 7808 Foster, Overland Park, KS 66204.
Joan was born July 27, 1928 in Upolo, Hawaii living in Olathe since 1962
coming from Waipahau, Hawaii. She married Frank Ebeling April 2, 1952 in
Honolulu, Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, two sisters, and
two grandchildren. She leaves her husband of 54 years; Frank E. Ebeling,
children; Bill (Julie) Ebeling, Bob Ebeling, Patty (Mike) Vaughn, Don
(Linda) Ebeling, Michelle (Mark) Allen, and Tim (Tricia) Ebeling, sisters;
Betty Molale and Florence Thomas, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great
grandchildren.
