Doris was born in Leland Illinois to William and Hazel George on January 18, 1926.
On October 6th, 1942 she married Roy Taylor JR.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Joe) Schawang, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Roy Taylor JR., brother, Robert George, Son, Steven R. Taylor and daughter, Sharon Greaves.
She worked at Hallmark cards in Lawrence, KS. Doris and Roy were the co-owners of the Greaves Nuway Stores in Southeast Kansas.
A private graveside service will be held at the Peoria, KS Cemetery at a later date.
