Doris Jones of Overland Park, KS passed away on August 10. She was born on November 11, 1930 in Manhattan, KS and graduated from Kansas State University.
She married William (Bill) C. Jones on March 15, 1953.
Doris started her career working in a lab as a medical technician, then later after receiving her Master's degree, she worked as a middle school science teacher.
She enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband, playing bridge, and spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, and her husband Bill. Doris is survived by two sons, Jon and David, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flower, the family ask for donations in the name of William C. Jones to the ALS Society at ALS.org
