Doris Elizabeth Disbrow, age 95, passed away April 16, 2008 in Merriam, Kansas.
Born October 5, 1912 in long Branch, NJ to Sarah and Everett Van Brunt. Doris moved to the mid-west as the bride of Drexel E. Disbrow, after WWII.
Doris and her husband lived in Mission, Kansas and Grandview, MO, eventually retiring in Hermitage, MO.
She leaves her four children, Dorene Disbrow, Kansas City ,MO, Drexel E Disbrow Jr. and wife Pam of North Glen, CO, Donald E. Disbrow and wife Joyce of Overland Park,KS, and Denis E. Disbrow and wife Tammy of Bennett Spring, MO, along with 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, cousin Leo Giladette and wife Beverly of Santa Cruz, CA, and many friends.
Doris lived her life as she so often told children; "We are put on this earth to help each other." Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of our choice.
