Doris "Corene" Admire, born July 16, 1933, passed away peacefully and with the people she loved by her side on December 2nd, 2006. She believed her most important job was being a wife and Mother and she was a phenomenal one.
She loved one man her whole life, Clarence "A.D." Admire, and they were married for 52 years. She was by his side when he served 20 years in the Navy and another 20 in the F.A.A.. She put up with deployments, shift work and being alone for long periods when A.D. was serving his country. She never complained; instead she raised two amazing children, Teresa and David.
Her unconditional love, her generous spirit and her compassion for others are just some of the ways she loved us all so well.
She made every holiday special, and she never forgot to get you a card (even for the obscure holidays), and she was the first person to call on your birthday and start singing. She was your biggest cheerleader and never missed an opportunity to tell you how much she loved you or how proud she was of you.
She always had a smile on her face and because of her gift of hospitality, ( if you knew her for more than five minutes) you couldn't help but love her. She would talk to total strangers on a plane or in a grocery store and make life-long friends.
She is survived by her husband, A.D., her children Teresa and her husband Jeff Suddreth, David and his wife Mary Admire, her grandchildren Jamie and her husband Nate Diefendorf, Nick Admire, Brett Suddreth, Pinky and her husband James McMillian, Kelsey Admire, her sister Marietta Dunlap and her inspiration for fighting these last few months, her Great Grand Baby Amelia Wade Diefendorf.
We know that we will miss her everyday for the rest of our lives and as we mourn the loss of this amazing woman we also want to remind you to rejoice in a life lived so well and so fully. May we all be so loved.
