Donnell J. "Don" Dixon passed away on November 4, 2019 after a long bout with Parkinson's Disease. Born in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1943 to Thomas and Regina Dixon, he graduated from Kapaun High School and Wichita State University.
Don enjoyed a long and successful career in commercial real estate and retired as Vice President of JC Nichols Co., Kansas City, MO. In his retirement, he volunteered as a docent at the Kansas City Zoo where he put his talent as a photographer and his love for animals to good use. Don was characterized by his sense of humor and quick wit. Throughout his courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease, he maintained his sense of humor and never missed an opportunity to laugh. He will be missed by all!
The family would like to thank Don's caregivers and St. Luke's Hospice.
Services will be private.
