Donna Gail Mau, 78, of Olathe, Kansas, formerly of Lancaster, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021. She was born on December 2, 1942 in Hope, Arkansas to Milton and Harley (Vines) Rogers.
Donna's childhood was spent in Hope before her family relocated to Lancaster where she graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins High in 1960.
She married Wilber Grant and they had two children by whom she is survived: Kevin Grant and Rhonda (Jeff) Cashman. In 1984 she married Marvin Mau who proceeded her in death.
Donna worked several jobs before she went to work as a reservations agent for Southwest Airlines. Donna took great pride in her work and being a part of the Southwest family. Her love for Southwest led her daughter and a grandson to follow in her footsteps. She retired from Southwest in 2004.
In retirement, Donna and Marvin enjoyed traveling and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
In addition to her children, Donna is survived by two of her brothers, Mike (Kathy) Rogers and David Rogers and her sister-in-law Bertha Rogers. Additionally she is survived by two step-children as well as 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Rogers as well as 3 step-children.
The family will have a private service at Penwell Gabel's Olathe Chapel on Friday, September 17, 2021. Interment will be in Leavenworth National Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Donna's memory be made to Olathe Hospice House.
