Donna Jean Frankland, 76, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away suddenly, Monday, August 14, 2006, at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas. She was born July 12, 1930, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Mrs. Frankland graduated from Thomas Jefferson High, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was married to Donald L. Frankland on October 17, 1954. She was a loving wife and mother, a homemaker, a volunteer, and a wonderful cook. She was always dedicated to her church home. Donna is survived by her family, including her husband of 52 years, Don Frankland; sons, David, of Leawood, Kansas, Scott, of Naperville, Illinois, and Kyle, of Gardner, Kansas; daughters in love, Barbara, Judy and Michelle Frankland; grandchildren, Matt, Allie, Ian, Rachel, Amber, and Baby Brooklyn (due January 2007); greatgranddaughter, Rhyan; brothers, Chuck (Joyce) Ward, Larry (M.E.) Ward, and Bud (Sharon) Frankland; beloved nieces and nephews, Mike, Mark, Kim, Cassie, Tammy, Sean, Joe, Jim and Kevin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Florence Ward, mother and father-in-law, Lester and Gladys Frankland and nephews, Keith Frankland and Sgt. Thomas Houser.
