Donna R. Barnhouse

Donna Rae Barnhouse, 73, of Olathe, passed away on November 8, 2024 at Olathe Medical Center. 
 
She was born on February 24, 1951 to Ray and Jewell (Young) Hall in West Plains, MO. 

Donna worked as a Cafeteria Manager for the Springfield Public School District, until the time of her retirement . 

In June of 1971, she married John and they made their home in Springfield MO and later in Olathe, KS, to be closer to the grandkids.
 
She was a follower of Jesus and loved her grandchildren "to the moon and back".
 
Donna is survived by her husband, John, her loving daughters Carrie (husband Eric), Jennifer (husband Joey) and Kristi (husband Wayne), her sister Wanda (husband Fred) and her brother Billy (wife Ginger) and many nephews and nieces. 

She is also survived by the absolute joys of her life, her beloved grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Easton, Hudson and Macy.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patsy.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Autism Speaks (autismspeaks.org) and PAN Foundation which helped Donna with her medication while she battled Myelofibrosis (panfoundation.org).
