Donald Lloyd
Donald G. Lloyd, 78, of Olathe, KS passed away Saturday June 26, 2010 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. The family suggests contributions to the Humane Society.
Donald was born May 7, 1932 in Shawnee, OK to Herman and Ethel Lloyd and raised in Fayette, MO. He worked as a lineman for KCP&L for 38 years. He owned Lloyd's Dog and Horse Specialties Ltd. for 11 years. He devoted his leisure time to training hunting dogs, field trials and judging field trials.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Gwen Settles and Patricia Cox, and one brother Marvin Lloyd.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Charlotte C. Lloyd of the home. One daughter Catharine Guest and one son Timothy Lloyd. One granddaughter Patricia Meyer. Two sisters Marilyn Nolte and Roberta Peeler, and two brothers Harold Lloyd and Charles Lloyd.
