Diane Garrison
After 21,155 days of loving her God, Diane died. In those days Diane extended mercy to all who suffered; forbearance to people who felt the need to win; and equal honor to all peoples. Diane brought peace to strangers troubled in body, soul or spirit. Diane taught Paul how to love.
Diane's children, Wes and Erika were provided with the best example of what it means to live for God. They learned early to trust God, commit their lives to Him, delight in the times of joy and pain and to take peace to heart because Diane lived blameless before family, and God. She was a woman of God's perfect love. When pleased in her spirit she would glow as though a lit candle sparked behind her smile.
After these too few days, days of being friend, lover, mother, nurse, leader, missionary, and always God's own, Diane died today and began life in God's eternal heaven.
Her siblings: Jay, Rusty, Jill and Scott were prayed for daily by Diane. They were spoken of with love often and when death was close, Diane wished only that they and the family know they are loved. Diane's mother, Eileen, had died only days before her own death and Diane extended prayer for her dad, Bill, a prayer that he might be comforted by God.
Diane's favorite scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
A memorial service for her will be held at 2:00 Sunday afternoon, June 29th at Central Church of the Nazarene, Lenexa, KS, 12600 87th Street Parkway, (913) 541 2600. In lieu of flowers, or to honor Diane, the family suggests donations be given to help build a Work and Witness (WW) church in a third world area. Send checks, marked "Diane's WW Church Project," to Central Church.
