Diana Jennings

Diana K. Jennings, 75, of Olathe, went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2023 from Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

Born November 3, 1947 to Curt and Bessie (Kitch) Dixon in Great Bend, KS. She lived most of her youth in Arkansas (Ark) City, KS and graduated from Ark City High School in 1965.

She was united in Marriage to William E. Jennings (deceased) on October 16th, 1965

Diana worked several years at the Winfield State Hospital where she earned a certification as a Licensed Mental Health Technician. She went on to hold several clerical positions as Medical Records Secretary for Good Samaritan Nursing Facilities in Ark City and Winfield, KS, Secretary to Provost for Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. And most recently, office manager for All Star Gas Company in Fairplay, CO. She retired in 2001 and returned to live in the Kansas City area in 2007.

Diana is survived by her loving children, Daughter, Mary A Jennings, of Olathe, KS, Son, William B Jennings, of Shawnee, KS, Sister, Eva Lee Mercer of Ooltewah, TN and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Curt G. Dixon, mother, Bessie E. Dixon, a brother, Ronald C. Dixon, and sister, Pamela J. (Dixon) Taylor.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16 at 2pm at Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Olathe, Kansas.

Memorial Service will be held at 3pm, reception to follow.
