Diana Hartigan was born January 22, 1949 in Sodus, NY to Emma and Ernest Jordan. She was raised in Palmyra, NY. After graduating from high school, she worked for Garlock in Palmyra.
Diana moved to New Jersey in 1971. She was a long-time resident of Maple Shade, and spent many years working for Holman/ARI.
In 1990, she moved to Olathe, KS where she worked for LabOne and the Olathe School District.
Diana loved to travel, and enjoyed cruises as well as visiting historical landmarks. She kept an extensive Fenton Art glass collection.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Vince and Wendy Abel of Cedar Rapids, IA, as well as a grand-daughter, Brooke. She is also survived by two brothers, Richard and Francis Jordan, and a sister Beatrice Valcore. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Lorraine Jones and Arleen Briggs. Per her wishes, there will be no services. Memorials may be given in her name to the American Cancer Society.
