Dennis Eugene Hitt

Dennis Hitt, 80, of Olathe, KS passed away on January 17, 2018 at his home.

He was born on January 12, 1938 to Elmer and Roma Hitt.

Dennis worked as a product support/customer service manager at King Radio. On July 25, 1958 he married Jolene Cox, and they made their home in Olathe, Kansas. He was a member of Vista Baptist Church in Olathe. Dennis loved his family and would do anything for them. He was so proud of all of his grandchildren. Dennis and Jolene Cox Hitt were married 59 wonderful years and after retirement had some wonderful trips, some were made with great friends.

He loved our lord and was constantly sharing his faith to all. Dennis often said that his condition was a win win situation, he would be with the God or his family.

Dennis spent 35 years at King Radio in Olathe now Allied Signal.

Besides his love for family and God he loved golf, he had so many golf buddies, he truly loved them all.

He is survived by his wife Jolene, children; Randy (Dawn) Hitt and Dennis (Terri) Hitt, Jr., six grandchildren and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Jaime Hitt, brothers; Bill, Steve, Roger, Jim, and Darrell Hitt, as well as his sister Sadie Gaer.

He is now with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We will always love and miss him.

Memorials are suggested to the Shriners Hospitals.
