David Llewellyn Thomas
October 20, 1938 — April 28, 2022
David Llewellyn Thomas, 83, of Olathe, Kansas passed on April 28, 2022 with his family at his side. He is at peace after 14 years of prostate cancer.
He leaves his wife of 61 years, Carolyn, a son David Mark Thomas and a daughter Suzanne Seck, two grandsons, Tyler Trammell and Samuel Trammell. He also leaves a brother, Scott Thomas of Columbus, OH.
Dave was the most gracious and kind person, always ready to lend a helping hand. He loved to cook, play golf, read and travel.
He worked for Employers Reinsurance Corp and General Electric until retiring in 2004.
Dave graduated from the University of Kentucky where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He also has a law degree from the University of Louisville. He was a member of the Delta Theta Phi law fraternity.
Dave will be honored at a private time and location.
