David V. Robbins, 56, of Lenexa, KS passed Sun. Feb. 19, 2017. A memorial service will be 2PM Fri Feb. 24th at Penwell-Gabel Olathe Chapel, reception to follow.
David was born January 19, 1961 in Kansas City, MO to Eddie Johnson and Olivia Page, he attended SE High School in Kansas City, MO before joining the US Army in 1979. Where he received many ribbons, medals and awards as a Cannon Crewman. He worked as a security guard at the IRS and at UPS for 25 years before retiring and following his dream of being a long haul truck driver. David enjoyed shooting
David was preceded in death by his mother Olivia Page and his brother Eddie Johnson, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years Jamie Robbins and their children Joshua David Robbins and Corbett Davis Robbins, his father Eddie Lee Johnson and his cousins and in laws from Iowa, Texas and Louisiana.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help with their continued needs.
