David Lee Radcliffe

David Lee Radcliffe has left this world, "on his own terms". Dave was 61 and passed away on August 17th, 2017. He was born in Olathe, Kansas on April 5, 1956 to parents Henry and Ruby Radcliffe. He grew up in Olathe and attended Olathe High School and graduated in 1974.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Radcliffe. He is survived by his mother, Ruby Radcliffe, his sister Nancy Hampson, and his brother Don Radcliffe. He also survived by his nieces and nephews, Jason Dunn, Bobbi Munsen, Shawn Radcliffe and Nicole Bogdan.
He is survived by his wife Donna (Paulsen) Radcliffe. David also leaves four daughters Kerri Kueser, Kathi Allen, Ceceilia Dock and Ashlee Radcliffe. David had 7 grandchildren, Kellen Kueser, Karter Kueser, Henry Allen, Avery Kueser, Owen Allen, Lana Vaughn-Dock and Mason Dock.
David retired from General Motors in March, 2009 after 30 years. He was a battery assembler at Delco Battery in Olathe. Before he retired, he also worked at a plant in Georgia. He remained friends with many of his co-workers even after retirement.
David loved the outdoors; he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping at local lakes around the Kansas City area. David could fix anything if you had car trouble. He also loved to ride his dyna wide glide (Harley Davidson) with his wife Donna and daughter Ashlee. David enjoyed lots of different kinds of music and enjoyed going to concerts. David enjoyed a good party and lots of great friends always surrounded him.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Hospice House of Olathe (15310 S. Marion St., Olathe, KS 66061).
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held next Monday, August 28th 2017 from 5pm to 7pm at Penwell-Gabel, 14275 Black Bob Road, Olathe, KS 66062.
