David Robert Measell
December 18, 1920 — March 7, 2019
David Robert Measell, 98, devout man of God and loving family man, died March 7, 2019 leaving an enduring Christian legacy to his family. His final days were spent surrounded by family.
David served in the Army Air Corp on the German front during WWII as a P51 pilot. Following the war, he married Ann Emelynn Wright Measell who remained at his side until her death in June of 2018. During his lifetime, his enduring passion was ministry to others through his church and the support of overseas ministries.
This heart for ministry is the legacy left to his surviving family of two daughters and their husbands, Larry and Sharon Morris, Rod and Denise Lincoln, and grandchildren, Jonathan and Amy Morris, Jeremy Morris, Lindsey Rochester, and Cody and Chelsey Rochester.
