Danielle E. Roseberry, 40, of Olathe, KS passed Fri Nov. 3, 2017.
"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." This quote embodies the life Danielle led. Danielle was born February 15, 1977 in Fayetteville, NC to Dennis and Dianne Bond. In 1978, Danielle and her family moved back to the Kansas City area, where Danielle was a lifelong resident. Danielle grew up in Raytown and attended Raytown schools, where she was involved in choir and debate. In 2000, Danielle met her future husband, Gary Roseberry, at Providence Medical Center. Gary was a nurse and was caring for Danielle's grandfather in the emergency room. There was a spark at first glance, and that's when the love story began. Gary and Danielle were married in 2002. Their first home was in Paola, Kansas. During her time in Paola, Danielle worked as a preschool teacher at the Little Lambs Preschool. On January 4, 2005, Danielle and Gary's son Sam was born. Danielle loved Sam more than anything. Danielle wrote about her son, "I see a young man who is kind, gentle, imaginative, creative, funny, intelligent, well-spoken, well-traveled, quirky, friendly, and open-minded. He has a kind word for everyone and a heart the size of Australia."
Danielle had a successful career in the financial industry and at the end of her career was a compliance manager for a financial institution. Danielle took great pride in her work and enjoyed her job. Danielle lived life to the fullest. She loved to spend time with friends and family, decorating her home (especially for the holidays), and followed politics closely. Danielle also loved to travel with her family. Some of her favorite destinations were Yellowstone, the Dominican Republic, Hilton Head, and Jamaica. Danielle loved unconditionally and would always lend a listening ear to anyone in need. She always said that her door was open for friends and family.
