Dan William Kennedy, 78, of Olathe, passed away on September 20, 2018 at his residence.
He was born on September 20, 1940 to Hugh and Wilma Kennedy in Manhattan, Kansas.
Dan worked as a Building Manager for General Motors.
On February 3, 1962, he married Shirley A. Steffen. Dan and Shirley lived in Olathe, Kansas.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Shirley. Four children - Torrie Epperson (Dennis), Doug Llamas,
Steve Kennedy and Kristy Smart. Four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a sister Sue Plummer.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Hugh W. Kennedy, and Mother, Wilma Kennedy.
Visitation and funeral services will be held at Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Olathe, Kansas on Friday, September 28th. Visitation is at 1:00, funeral services at 2:00 with Lieutenant Heidi Strand officiating. Refreshments after service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Olathe Health Hospice Care or to Olathe Salvation Army.
