Dan Edgington
Dan E. Edgington, age 91 of Olathe, passed away March 15, 2011. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 21 at 11:00 am at the Gardner Cemetery.
Dan was born on Feb 17, 1920 in Odessa, MO to Fred C. and Rosella Edgington. He served our country in the US Army during WWII, and retired after 38 years as a livestock inspector for the US Department of Agriculture. After retiring, he enjoyed time spent in the garden, caring for his plants and flowers, and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Graves of Olathe, his brother Dr. Eugene Edgington, his sisters Kathryn (Tom) Edgington Carlyle and Ella Shapley, grandchildren Mark and Dustin Edgington, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Ruth, his son Charles Allen Edgington, and brother Carroll Edgington.
