DALLAS "ROE" MOODY
Age 70, passed away December 29, 2006 at Olathe Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m., also in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment, Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Arthritis Foundation, 1900 West 75th Street, Suite 200, Prairie Village, KS 66208.
Roe was born January 7, 1936 in Jordan, Arkansas to William and Maude Moody. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janice, his children Terri Haynes and husband, Scott, Jeff Moody, and Jennifer Moody, all of Olathe. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Michael, Garrett, and Hannah, his three sisters; Daisy Jones, Lillie Jones, and Rita Mae O'Dell, his two brothers; Hale Moody and Bob Moody, step-brothers Dois Rand and Don Rand, and a large, loving extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Glen Moody. He brought love and laughter to all those who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
