Dale E. Schuler, 84, Olathe, KS passed Wednesday, July 17, 2019.

Dale was born May 20, 1935 to Raymond and Fannie Schuler in Topeka, KS. He graduated from Topeka High School where he played trumpet in the jazz and symphonic bands. He began his working career as a printer at a local printing company in Topeka, then moved to Kansas City to open a satellite printing office. He later worked in sales and advertising for a veterinary publication and retired in 1991.

Dale is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marcia, Olathe, KS, and two children, Deborah (Martin) Schuler Tupman, Shawnee, KS and Mike Schuler (Tami), Overland Park, KS, as well as two grandchildren, Nathan Schuler and Nicholas Schuler. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Arlene Schuler Keltner.

The family would like to thank the Aberdeen Village Healthcare staff and the Great Lakes Hospice staff for their excellent care for Dale and support to the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Topeka High School Band, c/o Eric Bradshaw, 800 SW 10th Street, Topeka, KS 66612 or the Aberdeen Village Employee Education Fund, c/o John Westmacott, 17500 W. 119th Street, Olathe, KS 66061.

Memorial Service will be held 2:30pm, Thursday, July 25, at the Aberdeen Village Chapel, 17500 W. 119th Street, Olathe, KS. Reception immediately following service.
