D. Joan Lewis, 88 after a faith filled, happy and adventurous life has joined her family in heaven. Throughout her life she loved to needlepoint and design. She and her husband Bill were lifelong Royals and Jayhawk fans. Her family was her life. She also leaves behind her sisters of the heart Lois Hochstatter, Helen Hughes, and Sue Dulle.
By her wishes there will only be graveside services of family only. Burial at a later date. Her wishes are no flowers and contributions to the Alzheimer's Association
