Cynthia "Cindy" S. Millard, 65, of Olathe, KS passed away September 20, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Heritage United Methodist Church,12850 Quivira Rd, Overland Park, Kansas, the Alzheimer's Association, or to Crossroads Hospice, 11150 Thompson Ave,Lenexa, KS.
Cindy was born May 25, 1949 in Kansas City, MO to Collis and Gloria Bosworth. She loved anything to do with her boys; she was a room mother, and soccer mom. She even played soccer because her boys loved it and she wanted to be a part of it too.
She enjoyed motorcycle rides, whether with friends or just Greg. Cindy loved flower gardening, and at one time was a stop on the Johnson County Master Gardener's Tour. She loved to cook and was the best pie maker EVER! She enjoyed anything to do with art; drawing, painting, crafts, needlepoint, etc. She was never afraid to tackle any kind of craft project or painting, or even wallpaper! Cindy was a very talented artist, she was an art major in college and she was always encouraging and supportive of Travis and Brett in developing their skills.
Cindy loved children and loved being around them anytime she could, If there was a baby in the room, she could not keep her hands off the poor child. She was active in her church and enjoyed mission trips with the youth.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Greg Millard, sons; Travis and Brett (Rheyla). Her mother Gloria Bosworth, her sisters; Dixie Uhl (Mike), Kathy Behm (Howard), and Debbie Tucker (Bryan). Her brothers; Rick Bosworth (Debbie), Collis Bosworth III (Donna), and John Bosworth (Marla) as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Collis Bosworth, Jr.
