CYNTHIA CAY GINARDI, mother and friend to all, passed away February 17, 2011 at home with her family. Memorials are suggested to Cypress Recovery or Community Living Opportunities.
Cindy was one of the few "shining stars" of this world and enriched the spirit of all who knew her. Her love of life and iron will allowed her to overcome all obstacles in life including her four year battle with colon cancer. Her love and light spirit provided a foundation of strength and completed the lives of her husband, David, son's Chase and Blake and daughter, Paige who will all miss her terribly but will always have the memories of her spirit and strength to rely on in life.
Cindy was fortunate to have a large family that loved her deeply and cared for her including; her Sister Debbie Culala, Brother's/Sister In-Laws, Mike and Michelle Zordan, Scott and Debbie Zordan and Tom and Debbie Zordan all of whom reached out to her on a regular basis and always provided her comfort and motivation through kindness, laughter and prayers. "Aunt Cindy" to her nieces and nephews was always there for them and she was fortunate to have their strong support and love throughout her life and especially when she needed it most.
Cindy was born on July 17, 1962 in Rockford, Illinois and was a graduate of Palatine High School. She achieved an Associates Degree from the International Academy of Interior Design . Her early years were spent as an administrative assistant with a recruiting firm where David had the great fortune of meeting the love of his life. After marrying on October 10, 1987, Cindy worked in interior design and focused her efforts in being one of the best Mother's any child could hope to have. This was especially true with her long term care and advocacy for Paige who's numerous health issues required her complete attention. As her Children grew Cindy was able to begin working again as an administrative assistant at a leasing company that she loved being involved with and the friends she made provided her great happiness. She especially loved her annual "Girls" trips to locations that always had white sand and blue water where she could escape and recharge her spirit.
David, Chase, Blake and Paige would like to thank all of their friends who reached out during their time of need to provide support and love. Also special wishes go out to Crossroads Hospice for their help and compassion for Cindy and the family.
