Courtney Marie Beck, nee Nelson, 49, of Olathe, KS, passed away on October 5, 2014 at home surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Courtney graduated from Olathe South High School in 1983, and soon after married the love of her life, Leon Beck Jr (Lonnie), with whom she had three children, Lauren, Lee and Lacey. Courtney spent all of her working life in the legal industry and finished her career as a legal assistant with the firm of Manning and Smith of Olathe.
Courtney is survived by her husband Lonnie, children Lauren Beck, Leon Beck III, Lacey Beck and grandson Tyler Beck, her parents, Pat and Al Nelson of Memphis, two brothers, Rocky Nelson of Horn Lake, MS and David Nelson of London, United Kingdom, and her in-laws, Leon and Terry Beck of Olathe, KS, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Courtney asked that you kindly send contributions to the National Brain Tumor Society: www.braintumor.org.
