Corine Sanders was born in Lake Providence, Louisiana on June 17, 1932 to the late Mary Corley and Arthur Sanders.
Corine was married to George Proctor, Sr. on July 7, 1952 and they relocated to Chicago in 1953. Into this family five children were born.
Corine was CMA/Mental Health Technician for the State of Illinois for over 30 years.
Corine was a member of First Corinthians Baptist Church where she faithfully served in Culinary and in the Pastor's Aide Ministry.
She was happiest serving God and when all her family were with her as she would cook huge delectable meals for them.
She took her final resting place in the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ on her Birthday, June 17, 2016, at 8:50 a.m. at Pinnacle Ridge Nursing Home in Olathe, KS.
She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Corley, husband George, Sr., and son Antoine. She leaves to mourn her passing three sons and one daughter: George (Willetta) Proctor, Jr.; Kenneth Proctor, Ronald Proctor, and Gwendolyn (Lennie) Pitts. She also leaves twelve grandchildren: George Proctor III, Nicholas Proctor, Nathaniel Proctor, Darrell Robinson, Shauna Hollinger, Ronald Proctor II, Damien Proctor, Pierre Pitts, Alexis Pitts, Marcus Pitts, Antoine Proctor II; and Requia Proctor; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Corine Proctor was loved by many and will be missed by all.
