Cora Lynne Haug

Cora LYNNE Haug, 71, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday April 13, 2021. Lynne was born February 11, 1950 in Kansas City, Kansas where she grew up and was an area resident her entire life. Lynne graduated from Washington High School Class of '68, where she met the love of her life for 51 years, Randy. After high school, Lynne graduated from Hays School of Hairdressing and began a successful career as a hairdresser. She built a loyal clientele at JoAnn's, Lynne's and Tootsie's salons, all in Kansas City, KS. She was a member of Grandview Methodist Church, Christ the King Catholic Church and Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Wea. In retirement, Lynne enjoyed loving her grandchildren, travel, golf, swimming and hosting guests at their Lake of the Ozarks home.

Lynne is survived by her husband, Randy of the home, daughters Jennifer Garrett of Leawood, KS and Kami Knipp (Conrad) of Louisburg, KS. Grandchildren, Jessica Garrett of Boston, MA, Jules Garrett of Austin, TX, Brody Knipp and Dannah Knipp both of Louisburg, KS. Step-Granddaughter Jenny Garrett Richmond (Sean) and Step-Great Grandchildren Garrett and Declan Richmond all of Plainville, MA. Lynne is survived by three sisters, Jaqueline Salas (Victor) of Mesa, AZ, Barbara Robinson (Jeffrey, Deceased) of Sunrise Beach, MO and Ruth Ann Alrick (Kenny) of Eldon, MO. One brother Leslie Bates (Elizabeth) of Hamilton, MO. One brother-in-law Thomas Haug of Gilbert, AZ and one sister-in-law Cinda Haug of Topeka, KS. As well as nine nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews.

Lynne is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Cora Bates both of Kansas City, KS.
