Connie Watson

February 4, 1947 — October 11, 2015

Connie passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on October 11, 2015. Dennis, her husband and Gail, her twin sister were at her side when she passed.

We are all grieving together, but we are not grieving as those without hope. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Connie was a marvelous wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, teacher, and councilor. She especially loved her grandchildren. She was a gifted mentor to the young women in her community. Connie loved to serve and was a faithful friend to all.

She was involved in ministry to children for over 40 years.

Connie loved to plan and coordinate weddings. She did more than 60 weddings without charging for her services. She said, "This is my gift to them on their special day."

We asked her several weeks ago what she would like to say to future generations. She said, "There is nothing more important than following Jesus. He is the way. In marriage: Forgive quickly and pray together. For life: Have Integrity and Be diligent in everything you put your hand to." She learned early in life that God is faithful and provides all of her needs, regardless of circumstances.

Even into her last days she was smiling, lighthearted, joking and laughing. She wanted us to celebrate her life with joy and lightness. We would like to invite you to join us Sunday October 18th, 2015 at 2:00pm at Olathe Bible Church 13700 W. 151st St. Olathe, Ks 66062

Dennis and the family would love to hear from you. Please send your thoughts and memories to: dennis-watson@att.net
