CLIFFORD E. TOYNBEE

Cliff was born July 30, 1926 to John and Ozetta (Yerks) Toynbee in Morse, KS on his farm his grandparents owned for many years. He married Fleta Climer (love of his life) December 14, 1946 in Paola, KS.
They made their home in Olathe, Kansas and there after had five children, Kay, Gerald (Jerry), Chris, Chuck and Kenny. Cliff worked at Hyer Boot Factory and Sealrights. Then retired from General Motors after 25 years. His parents, his son Jerry Lee and his granddaughter Danielle Louise, preceded Cliff in death.
He is survived by his wife Fleta of 58 years, daughter; Kay & husband Ron Elkinton, with children; Tim, Bryan, and Kristi, deceased son Jerry's daughters; Tina and Tracy, son; Chris & wife Connie, with daughter Linsi, son; Chuck with son Rob Clegg & wife Sherri, with son Jeremy, son; Kenny, with daughters; Ashley and Amber, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, sister; Barbara Johnson of Texas and a sister Judy Maxwell of Missouri also survive him.
Cliff was a wonderful loving man and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. We would like to thank the staff of CLC of Olathe for their loving care.
