Clibborn Isiah Gibson, 97, of Leawood, passed away on December 16, 2019. He was born on April 29, 1922 to Royal and Ula (Hudiburgh) Gibson in Zavalla, TX.
Clibborn is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Gibson; and his three sons, Narron, William, and Philip; seven grandsons, by Narron, there is Mike, Joe, Edward, Daniel, and Tim, by William, William jr., and by Philip, there is Travis; and also 16 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for a visitation from 11:00-12:00pm on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Penwell Gabel's Olathe Chapel, with the funeral following at 12:00pm. Burial will be at 11:00am on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to either Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care, 1500 Meadow Lake Pkwy #200, Kansas City, MO 64114 or to First Faith Church, 8633 W 167th St., Overland Park, KS 66085.
