Cleta Ann Riley, 85, of Olathe, passed away on March 15, 2017. She was born on February 25, 1932 to Alfred "Frosty" and Bertha (Fienhige) Woltkamp in Seneca, KS.
After graduating from St. Peter and Paul High School, she began her work life ultimately spending more than thirty years at Southwestern Bell. While she liked to bowl, do ceramics, and volunteer at The Salvation Army, faith and family were the two most important things in her life. She married Larry Riley, the love of her life, on July 5, 1952.
Cleta is survived by her loving husband, Larry, and her four children, Jolene Miller, Mike (Jackie) Riley, Jalynn (Kevin) Hedrick, Janeen (Sean) Shawver; six grandchildren, Jennifer Lombardo, Morgan Bustch, Julie Hedrick, Riley Miller, Miles Riley, Mary Riley; three sisters, Lola Boeding, Janie Conley, Marilyn Brinker; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
The family will receive guests for a Visitation on Friday, March 17, 2017, from 10:00-11:00 am at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Olathe. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am, with burial in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Lenexa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to either St. Paul's Catholic Church or to The Salvation Army.
