Clarence Frederick William Reimer, 70, passed away Monday, November 7, 2005 in Overland Park, KS. The family would appreciate memorials, in lieu of flowers, to the Alzheimer's Assoc, Parkinson's Assoc, or the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Carrollton.
Clarence, the son of the late Henry and Augusta Brockmeier Reimer, was born and raised in Carrolton, MO. After he graduated from high school, he served four years in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Spain. He then went to the University of Missouri where he graduated with a BS in Business Administration. After graduation he worked for the John Deere Co. in Kansas City for 20 years. The family then moved to St. Louis, MO where he worked for the Farm Credit Administration retiring in 1996. Clarence farmed with his father while growing up and farmed some on his own as a young adult. He always enjoyed working with and for farmers.
He is survived by his wife; Peggy of the home, one son; Fredrick Reimer of Lee's Summit, MO and his wife Ashlee, one daughter; Susanne Reimer of St. Louis, MO, one stepson; Wayne Wellman of Raytown, MO, two grandchildren; Kristen and Brett Wellman, and one sister; Ruth Hensiek and her husband Valjean of Carrollton, MO, and many nieces and nephews.
Clarence suffered with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases for many years. The family wishes to thank the many friends, family, church members, and medical personnel who helped them along their journey.
A special thank you to the employees of Garden Terrace. This dearly loved, kind and gentle, Christian man is now at rest.
