Clara Fay Evans, 88, of Olathe, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2019 at her home. She was born on March 24, 1930 to Frank and Lola (Cutshall) Seldomridge in Kansas City, KS.
Clara worked as a Homemaker and enjoyed collecting, crafts and reading. On Dec. 7, 1950, she married Cecil H. Evans. Clara and Cecil lived in Olathe, Kansas. Clara is survived by her loving son, Bacil Evans, Laura Tiffany and Mary Lynn (Evans) Weaver. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Brandy, Robbie and Elias Buckingham, Jessica, Matt, Clementine and Baxter Treder, Thomas Weaver, Jr., Jordan Mutis, Samantha Schenck, Chris Lamance and John Schenck.
Clara was preceded in death by Cecil Evans, her sons Daniel and William Evans, and five of her seven siblings.
In lieu of flowers, Clara's family asks that donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Association. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 19 from 10:30 to 11:30AM at Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Olathe, KS. Graveside Services will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 12:30PM.
