Claire Peterson

CLAIRE ANN PETERSON, age 83, passed away September 18, 2006 in Olathe, KS. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21 at 9:30 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 W. 143rd Street, Olathe, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the church.

Claire was born on July 30, 1923 in Norton, KS to Patrick Joseph Keating and Elizabeth Rose (Ward) Keating. She graduated from Norton High School and was married to Mr. Clark Peterson on October 3, 1943. Her priority was providing a loving home for her family. Additionally, for several years she was employed in banking, and various commercial businesses. Claire and Clark were long-time members of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Clark Peterson, her children; Carla and Jay Winkler of Denver, CO, Craig and Linda Peterson of Leawood, KS, her sister Patricia "Pat" and Virgil Corn of Marysville, WA, brother-in-law Glen Emerick, her grandchildren; Cori Lunetta, Noah and Marissa Winkler, Erin , Jill and Matthew Peterson, her great-grandchildren; Brandon, Autumn, and Heaven Leah, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a sister, Eileen Emerick.
