Cindy Wollen, 51, owner of the Common Grounds Coffee Shop, Olathe, KS passed away in Gardner, KS on January 15, 2009. She will be missed by her parents Dr. Marvin and Sally Wollen and her sisters, Cathy Maxwell, Terri Wilke, and Tammi and her husband Darryll Watkins, and her nieces and nephews Chelsea, Andrew, Samantha, Ashley, Parker, Ally, and Trinity. The family deeply appreciates the support of the doctors and staff of Olathe Medical Center and the staff of the Hospice of Olathe Medical Center. They also appreciate her customers and friends who made her coffee shop such a special place to her. A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Monday, Jan. 19, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Olathe Chapel. Cremation. The family will hold a private burial in Garnett, KS. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be sent to Hospice of Olathe Medical Center.
