Cynthia "Cindi" Sue Jones
Cindi Jones, 67, passed away on June 28, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 26, 1954 to Wesley and Betty (Cutberth) Blue in Kansas City, KS.
She graduated from Shawnee Mission North in 1972. On May 12, 1973, she married Gregory Jones and they made their forever home in Olathe, KS. Forty years of living in Olathe presented many opportunities for Cindi. She enjoyed working as an Administrative Assistant at Delmar Gardens nursing home before moving on to become a personnel director for three different doctor offices; each with different experiences, while providing love and care to all she encountered. Her hobbies included: researching family genealogy, caring for her animals, as well as any neighborhood strays.
She was an avid game player; including many games of UNO with the grandchildren and playing marbles and Bunco with family and friends. Cindi's ultimate goal in her life was to stay home and raise her children, and that is what she will always be remembered for; her love of family, and her strength and ability to ensure they all felt her love.
Cindi is survived by her loving husband Gregory; children Ali and husband Christopher Sprague Sr., Dillon and wife Angela Jones, Jeremiah and wife Sarah Jones, and her sister Jan (Blue) and husband Richard Aumiller .
Each of Cindi's grandchildren; Tylor Jaster, Ty and wife Mady Jones, Jordan Jaster, Lexi Sprague, Abigail Sprague, Emme Jones, Gus Cook, Sarah Sprague, Christopher Sprague Jr., Cora Jones and great-granddaughter Rhea Jones, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins will carry on the love, strength and legacy of their Mamaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Betty (Cutberth) Blue and sister Diann (Blue) Rose.
