Christopher Cummings

Christopher Calvin Cummings, 40, of Olathe, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024, at Olathe Medical Center. Chris was born on February 23, 1984, at San Antonio, TX. He has lived in Olathe, Kansas since 2001.

Christopher is survived by his mother, Michelle Cummings, brother, Rusty and sister Lexe, bonus brother, Shawn, his grandfather, Calvin, his foster siblings, Kacey, (Olathe) & Cody Burns (Tampa, FL), and a large, extended family who all adored him, as well as his longtime caregivers, William and Rebekah Burns. He was preceded in death by his brother Jacob, as well as his aunt, Theresa.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm, Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Oak Hills Presbyterian Church, 5638 Goddard, Shawnee Kansas.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Christopher’s memory to Olathe Trailblazers, the local chapter of Special Olympics.
