Cherie Ann Williams

Cherie Ann Williams, 53, of Spring Hill, passed away on September 24, 2024 at her home. 

 She was born on April 8, 1971, to Cecil and Carol (Lavallee) Williams at Rochester, NY. 

Cherie was a student at Mt. St. Mary Seminary in Nashua, NH. After graduation she went on to attend Plymouth State College and then the University of New Hampshire. She achieved her master’s degree in psychology and Family Counseling. She was most recently employed with Maggiano's Little Italy in Overland Park. 

 Cherie was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.She enjoyed gardening, working on her lawn, and decorating her home. She loved running with her sister. Her most favorite things to do were to play Ricky and Horton, tickle wars, and tag with her daughter, Emma. She always looked forward to family dinners every Sunday night at her sister’s house. She had the best sense of humor, and a belly laugh that was contagious.

 Cherie knew the importance of helping others in need. She was a great listener and supported others who were struggling in their lives. She was kind to her core, humble and grateful for her blessings. 

Cherie is survived by her loving daughter, Emma Williams, her sister, Cristen Williams (Alan) Santa, her mother, Carol Lavallee, her step-sister, Catherine Schofield, her step-brother, John Sullivan, and nieces and nephews; Jacob Sloan, Hannah Sloan, Avery Sloan, Sheala Schofield, Samual Schofield, John Alexander Schofield, Aidan Sullivan, John S. Sullivan III, and Caroline Sullivan.

 She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Alfred Williams, step-mother, Constance Joan Williams, and brothers, Michael J. Tempone and Richard A. Tempone, and her Nana, May Papillon.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family, which will be used for the benefit of her daughter, Emma.
