Charles F. Thompson, 87, of Olathe, KS passed away Monday April 16, 2012 at the Kansas City Hospice House. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Hospice House of Olathe Medical Center 20333 W. 151st. Suite 301 Olathe, KS 66061.
Charles was born February 19, 1925 in Lenexa, KS to Hugh and Mary Ann Thompson. He graduated from Olathe High school and was a life long farmer in the Olathe Area. He was a leader in 4H and the Knights of Columbus, he enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his wife Geoia in 2000 and his son Frank in 1998.
He is survived by his wife Jean Ann Thompson, children; Mary Haas (Larry), Jean Richardson, Fred Thompson (Roxanne), Ralph Thompson (Amy); Bill Thompson (Connie); Liz Scalora (Ron). 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Hugh Thompson, Jr. and his sister Rita Pennybaker.
