Charles Clarence Janes, 63, of Overland Park, KS, (formerly of St. Louis, MO and Daytona Beach, FL) passed away on July 22, 2019.
He was born on May 25, 1956 to Charles and Mercedes (Gerner) Janes in Germany.
He served our country in the U.S. Air Force and worked in Mechanical Maintenance for the Sara Lee Company (Chock full o'Nuts) in St. Louis, MO for many years.
He was an avid St.Louis Cardinals baseball fan, loved music, and his friends and family.
Charles is survived by his daughter, April (Matt) Helms, his son Bill Janes, his mother Mercedes Janes, brother Tim Janes and 4 grandchildren Dylan, Clayton, Lexi, and Ava.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Elmer Janes, and his sisters Cindy (Janes) Vandiver Priest, and Veronica (Janes) Dowling.
Private services will be held.
