Charles J. "Chuck" Chiddix age 90, of Kansas City, KS, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Good Samaritan Center, Olathe, KS.
He was born November 29, 1921 in Grain Valley, MO, where he attended high school before joining the Civilian Conservation Core. When World War II started, he joined the United States Army.
While serving in France he met his future wife Bessie. Following the war they moved to Kansas City, KS and were married in 1946. Chuck worked for General Motors for 29 years and Wyandotte BBQ for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife and three sisters.
Survivors include one son, Mike Chiddix and wife Jenny, one grandson, Luke and many friends.
