Charles Franklin Pritchett Jr. (Frank), 61, of Independence, Mo, passed away March 21, 2014, at his home after a long battle with cancer. Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, 29 March, 2014 beginning at 10 am, El-Bethal Baptist Church 709 Herschel St Belton, Mo and he will be put to rest immediately following in Peculiar Cemetery.
Frank was born in Sheldon, Mo Nov. 21, 1952. He married his wife of 43 years Judy Craven Dec. 1970. Living in Hickmond Mills and Belton, Mo most of his life he joined the Air Force from 1975-1979. Frank loved his travels in the Air Force where it took him to Keesler AFB Mississippi, Scott AFB Illinois, and Whiteman AFB Missouri.
After he left the Air Force, Frank provided for his family as a plumber in Kansas, Missouri and even Arizona where he lived from 2005-2011 to be close to his oldest son. His love for God, music and his family were always his center of attention. His fondest memories were of playing music with his father and brothers and, later in life, with his sons. Frank is rejoicing in glory with his father Charles F. Pritchett, Sr. and sister Kathy Holloway.
Frank is survived by his mother June Pritchett, wife Judy Pritchett, sons Charles F. Pritchett, III (Michelle) and William Pritchett (Shauna). Frank enjoyed the most his grandchildren Alyssa-17, Landen-3, and Sara-10 months. He is also survived by sister Carolyn Begley, brothers John (Roxie), Wendell (Glenda), David (Kathrine) and Robert (Norene) along with many nieces and nephews.
Frank asked that a fund to be set up for donations going to Leukemia / Cancer Society to help cancer patients with medical costs, in lieu of flowers. Donations will be collected at the service. Good night Dad we all love you - love you papa - more than all the stars in Heaven.
