CHARLES ETHAN ARBOGAST
Age 82, passed away October 19, 2006 at his home in Olathe, KS. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 22 from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd, Olathe, followed by funeral services on Monday, October 23 at 11:00 a.m. also in the chapel of the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the charity of your choice.
Charles was born on March 17, 1924 in Stockton, KS to Roscoe and Hattie Arbogast. He served our country in the United Sates Navy during WWII, and was stationed in the Pacific. Charles retired after a career as a Journeyman Plumber, and member of the Plumber's Local Union 8 in Kansas City, MO for 50 years.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking , and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Lottie of the home, his son Sam Arbogast, daughters Patti (Rick) Wallace, and Tudie (Jamie) Tieman, step-daughters Kay (Jerry) Harding and Maxine Hunt, step-sons Roger (Denise) Mungle, Steve (Heather) Mungle and Frank Keener, grandchildren Kevin, Daphne, Samantha, Melissa, Wayne, Lacy, Cody and Colton, great-grandchildren Nicole, Cody, Kaylee, Hailey, Anastasia, Jake, Rhyan and another great-grandchild expected in March 2007. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Birdie Arbogast and his step-son, Robert Keener.
