CECIL L. DAHL
Cecil L. "Larry" Dahl, 81, of Overland Park, passed away on Dec. 27, 2015. He was born July 10, 1934 to Walter C. and Thelma Dahl in Kansas City, MO.
Mr. Dahl graduated from Southeast High School in 1952. He completed an apprenticeship program with the Carpenter Union in 1955 which led to his 35 year home building career. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1955-1959.
Mr. Dahl started The Dahl Co. Home Building Remodeling business in 1959. Most of his homes are in Johnson County. He was a unique builder who was able to perform all aspects and trades himself, focusing on perfection.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Karen; son Bryan; grandchildren Kelsey and Konnor; two brothers Ronald Dahl of The Villages, FL, and Walter C. Dahl, Jr. of Springfield, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Kaitlyn (Kelsey's twin).
Cremation and to respect Mr. Dahl's wishes there will be no funeral services. Burial will be at a later date.
