Catherine Neill, 54, of Quenemo, KS, passed away unexpectedly from heart failure on July 2, 2018. Catherine's story began on July 26, 1963, daughter to John and Barbara Maze in Kansas City, MO. The path to eternal life was cleared by her father, John Lee Maze when he passed away in 2012.
Loved ones that will miss Catherine until they meet again are her son, Zachary Lee Neill; love of her life, Larry Neill Jr.; mother, Barbara J. Veach; sisters, Deborah Portillo (Javier), Theresa Maze (Edward Drazick), Ethel Maze, Regina Maze Al-Siyouhi (Mohammed); brother, John A Maze (Karen); nieces and nephews, Charley, Aimee, Rachel, Bryan, Brandon, Patrick, Jennifer, Samantha, Justin, Jesse, James, Jacqueline, Javier Jr, and Jennah; and many great nieces and great nephews. Catherine loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a professional (ASL) Sign Language Interpreter for many years. Her passion to become a sign language interpreter developed after meeting Larry Neill Jr. and becoming involved with the deaf community.
She loved and cherished her son more than life itself and was beyond proud of his military service to our country. Catherine will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She had a great sense of humor, was very quick-witted, and conversation with Catherine was easy and entertaining. She was amazing.
